Start Your Fundraiser

Create your free HegPeg fundraising account.
Customize your event details (dates, goals, logo, team name, etc.).

STEP 2

Add Your Sellers

Every participant gets their own unique fundraising link so we can track their individual progress and credit their sales correctly.

Why does each seller need a unique email?

Our system uses email addresses to identify each seller’s account.
This allows us to:

  • Track each person’s sales
  • Handle payouts correctly
  • Prevent duplicate accounts
  • Make sure every seller’s link is unique (ex: FirstName.LastName)

✔ Works whether your group has 10 sellers or 1,000+
✔ Sellers can be parents, players, coaches, teachers – anyone you add

Seller Login & Email Setup

Each person selling popcorn needs their own personal store link so we can track their sales correctly. To do this, every seller must be set up with:

A unique username → FirstName.LastName
A unique email address → must be different for each seller

Important: You do NOT need a separate inbox for every seller

If sellers do not have their own email address, you can use one main Gmail account and create simple email aliases for each person.

How email aliases work (recommended):
Gmail allows you to add a “+” and a name to the same email address. All emails still go to one inbox, but our system sees each one as unique.

Example:

Main account: DMHOOPS@gmail.com

Seller emails:
DMHOOPS+John.Smith@gmail.com
DMHOOPS+Alex.Jones@gmail.com
DMHOOPS+Player23@gmail.com

This setup:

  • Keeps everything in one inbo
  • Creates unique seller accounts
  • Allows accurate tracking for each person

Email provider note

  • Gmail and Google Workspace support this feature and work best
  • Yahoo Mail does NOT support + email aliases
  • Some private or older email systems may have limitations
  • If you are unsure, we recommend using a Gmail-based account for your fundraiser.

For Production / Dev Team (Plain Language)

  • Each seller must be stored as a unique user record
  • Email field must be unique per seller
  • “+ alias” emails should be accepted as valid and unique
  • No requirement for sellers to log into separate inboxes
  • All seller accounts roll up under one main fundraiser account

STEP 3

Share Your Popcorn Store

Share Your

Once sellers are added, each person gets their own personal store link to share with:

  • Friends
  • Family
  • Social media followers
  • Teammates
  • Co-workers

Stores can be shared via text, email, Instagram, Facebook, or QR code.

Every purchase is automatically credited to the correct seller AND to the main team.

STEP 4

We Fulfill Every Order

Supporters shop online, and HegPeg ships all popcorn directly to their door.

No sorting.
No delivery.
No product handling.
We take care of everything.

STEP 5

Get Paid

After the fundraiser ends, the organizer receives a payout for 50% of all sales.

You choose:

  • Check
  • Direct deposit

Every seller’s totals are also provided so you can track participation and top performers.

How Seller Tracking Works

Team Setup Requirements

To launch your fundraiser, you will need:

  1. Main Organizer Account
    • Name
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Payout preference
    This person will control the team dashboard.

  2. Sellers List You may add sellers one at a time or upload a CSV file. Each seller must include:
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Unique email (required)
    • Optional photo
    • Phone (optional)

    ⚠ IMPORTANT:

    Every seller must have a unique email address to receive their personal store link. This is how HegPeg tracks sales accurately.
    If a seller does NOT have an email, provide an email alias format such as:
    dmhsgirlsbasketball+john.doe@gmail.com


  3. How Team Structure Works
    • The Organizer controls everything

    • All sellers roll up into the main team for totals & payouts
    • Organizers can:
